The Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority (NTSWA) Landfill #1 is located in rural Hamilton Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. It is situated 1 mile from Blossburg, PA, and is approximately 2 miles from U.S. Route 15. This landfill is a natural renovation landfill permitted by the Department of Environmental Protection (Permit #101201). This facility accepts only construction and demolition material from Bradford, Sullivan and Tioga Counties, Pennsylvania.Municipal Wastes are accepted at the NTSWA Transfer Station located on site. Hours
The Transfer Station and Recyclable Processing Center are open to all haulers and residents Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm and on Saturdays from 8:00am to Noon. The Construction and Demolition Landfill is closed during winter months but can be opened by appointment for large quantities of construction and demolition waste. Hours when opened are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
