Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority
As part of our integrated solid waste management system, Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority (NTSWA) offers educational services to schools and organizations in Bradford, Sullivan, and Tioga Counties, Pennsylvania.
Staff from NTSWA can visit your school or group meeting to make presentations on a variety of integrated solid waste management topics. Call the NTSWA Central Office at (570)297-4177 and speak to Erin Route, Recycling Coordinator to make arrangements. Spring is the busiest season and requests will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Facility Tours
Facility tours take approximately 1 hour and can be altered to fit your groups needs. The maximum group size should be no more than 50-75 participants at one time. Small groups are also welcome. Call (570)297-4177 to make arrangements. We attempt to set rain dates for all tours.
Visitors are reminded to wear sturdy, closed toe shoes suitable for walking on uneven surfaces.
