Aluminum Cans
Make sure cans are empty. Rinse if necessary. Separate from tin/steel cans.

Glass Bottles and Jars
Remove all lids and rings; Rinse well; Separate by Color; (clear, brown, & green). Labels can remain on. No windows, cookware or light bulbs.

Newspaper
Do not bundle, but keep together in bag or box, shiny inserts can remain, keep dry.

Steel (Tin) Cans
Rinse and secure lids inside. Labels can remain. Separate from other materials.

"1" PET Plastic
Look for #1 recycling symbol on the bottom of the container. Remove lid and rinse if necessary. Recycle only bottles and jugs.

"2" HDPE Plastic
Look for #2 recycling symbol on the bottom of the container. Remove lid and rinse if necessary. Recycle only bottles and jugs.

Office Paper\ Junk Mail
Sort out office paper, junk mail, glossy paper, coupons, fax paper, envelopes, phone books, etc. Do not bundle, but keep together in box or bag and keep dry.

Magazines & Catalogs
Sort out only magazines and catalogs. Remove plastic wrapping. Do not bundle with string, but keep together in box or bag, keep dry.

Corrugated Cardboard
Only American made corrugated cardboard boxes ( look for ridges between layers). Bundle and keep dry.
