Each year, Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority (NTSWA) joins thousands of other recyclers across the country in celebrating America Recycles Day - a project to promote Buying Recycled Products.
In 2006, NTSWA sponsored a "BUY RECYCLED RAFFLE" throughout the three counties. The price was a basket of items packaged in recyclable products, including plastic bottles, glass jars, and tin cans. The basket also included an "Eco Fleece" Blanket made from recycled plastic bottles. Local banks participated in the event by allowing residents to register for the prize in their lobbies. NTSWA thanks all those who registered and congratulates the winners!
